The most commonly used protocol for acudetox is the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol, which involves the insertion of needles into five specific points on each ear. These points are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body that are involved in detoxification and recovery processes. Acudetox is often used as a complementary therapy in conjunction with other forms of treatment, such as counseling, support groups, and medical care, to support individuals in their recovery journey.
